But First, Family…

My love for lettering and design run deep, but so does my passion for my family. Faith and family are everything to me, and they fuel my desire to run a heartfelt business. I adore being a wife to my hubby, Tyler, mama to our baby girl, Olivia, and a follower of Jesus. Tyler and I both desire to serve overseas one day in an agriculturally-based community {Tyler is a veterinarian}, but before that dream can become a reality, student loans need to be paid off. For now we are working hard towards that goal while enjoying being in close proximity to our families.

My Journey:

While attempting to "spruce up" my lecture notes in college with interesting fonts and typography designs, I discovered I had a knack for lettering. I started lettering chalkboards and creating signage for my friends' and family's parties and special celebrations as a way to bless them. After several years, and the with the encouragement of my family, I took the plunge and launched my Etsy shop in 2017.  A few months later, I took a step back from the classroom and my career as an elementary teacher in order to be home full-time with my girl, and to pursue this #mompreneur journey; I wouldn't trade this season for the world, and I'm SO thankful for all the people who have invested in my journey. YOU are the reason I get to follow my passions and create extra income for my family, and I am so grateful.

When I'm not in the studio...

When I'm not in the studio getting my #naptimehustle on, you'll find me playing with Olivia, spending time with my sisters at my mom's house, volunteering at our church, cooking and "choring" to audiobooks and podcasts, munching on popcorn or chips and salsa, and trying to finish my iced coffee while it can still be considered "iced."

Join me for a virtual coffee date!

Reheat that cup of cold coffee {or add a few ice cubes if you prefer it iced like me} and head on over to the shop for some good ol’ fashioned shopping therapy. Or, click the link below if you want to chat! I’d love to hear from you, girl!
